It is the year 1978, and the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry step out into a world darkened by the war. The lines that once formed the barriers between the houses are falling, to be replaced with ones of their own creation; Death Eaters, the loyal servant of the Dark Lord Voldemort; the Order of the Phoenix, dedicated to bringing down the evil by any means possible; and those who struggle to remain Neutral, forever caught between the two extremes. Trust is an illusion, when you can never truly know who is your ally, and who is only waiting for the perfect moment to stab you in the back.
With less then a year until the Last Night, which side will you choose?

Captured Memories -Angelica's Album- « Thread Started on Sept 17, 2009, 9:53am »
The Rosier estate in Wiltshire has been in my family for more generations then I care to count. The East wing always belonged to my brother and I, off in the back where we could not bother our parents.
My father, Cassius Ignatius Rosier. He passed away last Spring, and I truly believe the world is a better place because of it.
My aunt, Druella Rosier-Black. She looks so much like my cousin Bellatrix that it's eerie; and they have the same temperment as well.
My father again. My 'Uncle' Renault had fallen ill, and I managed to catch the expression on his face when my mother told him. It was worth the punishment.
As a reminder- and because there are very few pictures remaining of the original Death Eaters in their youth. My father.
Not a Rosier, but Renault Lestrange has been my father's right hand since they were children- so if by deed, and not blood, he's earned his place in this section.
*photo tucked into the margin* I don't know how this ended up in my possession, but it's a picture of Uncle Renault!
Nine years old, with my father. Publicity, playing the part of the perfect family- never answer why I won't take the glasses off, or why Evan was mysteriously too 'ill' to leave his room.
The youngest members of the Rosier family, my brother and I when we were very small.
Out with a few of my co workers after we finished for the day. Despite my upbringing, I find that I really do enjoy working there.
Sitting out by the pool, the summer before seventh year. I think this one was taken by Lucius, actually!
"Empty house, very empty. Ok, what do I do with all this space?" My first day in my new home, completely overwhelmed.
Laughing at something Mattie said, but you'd have to ask her what it was!
Evan Adder Rosier, the current head of the Rosier family. But otherwise (and much more importantly!) known as my big brother, Evee. With nine months between us, we'd always been stuck together- until recently. I could never do justice to what he is to me. He's my best friend, he's the one I owe my life to, time and time again. And whenever I'm scared, it's his voice I hear in the back of my mind.
Realizing that I wasn't going to abandon him at one of those ridiculous parties my mother threw every Christmas. During our graduating year.
Overprotective to the end, making sure I understood that I was absolutely was not allowed to argue with him. Of course, I still did.
Trying on my hat, after a few too many glasses of Firewhiskey. One of those truly amazing nights when he and Rod could both escape to my house.
I stumbled across this one by accident- Rod and I as children, a reminder that he's been in my life since the beginning!
He's grown up well, don't you think? Sitting on my back stairs, and proving that, visually at least, that 'charm' he boasts about just might be more then myth...
With the Daily Prophet- so strangely, adorably, domestic. Shortly followed by a great deal of complaining from the man in question!
Back at school, a few days before graduation. Talking about what we were going to do.. Telling me he was still going to have to marry Bellatrix. I have never wanted to hex him so badly.
Seventh year? Possibly right before my mother's Christmas thing. After being attacked by Auntie Rose, so he looked passably proper!
The best sight in the world! My Roddy walking up the front path- home again!
Narcissa Druella Black-Malfoy, the summer before 7th year. She's my cousin, not just my friend- and after a giant falling out last year, not even that anymore. But she was my best for a lot of my life, and deserves the first place here.
And her new husband, Lucius. Even if he pretends to be a vice riddled fop, there is more to him then meets the eye!
My next door neighbor, former annoyance, and (crossing all fingers and toes)..well, I don't want to jinx it. Miss Matilda Ivanov! The perpetually cheery thorn in my side. No, I only joke, she's a darling, and I'm incredibly lucky to have her around.
Why were we in the Lake? I don't remember- I think it was 5th year. After a fight with Evan.. I think...
A very serious chat between my two best boys. I had to take it, there is so few pictures of them together.
Evee and Angie- the most incredibly undignified (and most honest) picture of the two of us. This is who we are to each other, almost nobody ever sees that; they aren't allowed to. So I think it must have been Rod that took it.
Attack of the killer Malfoy! I think, trying to convince Rod (ineffectively!) that there was more to be done in a dormitory then just sleep.
